I've open a few File Explorer windows to the file share and one to my local C: drive, periodically through out the day maybe 3 or 4 times a day, the one to the shared drive will close, but not the ones to the local drive. I've also been able to determine it doesn't happen to all the users at the same time. They keep getting deleted automatically from my S21, twice now. They will work for awhile then a few days or a week later they're gone. I don't mean just not working when someone calls, I mean the file is no longer in the folder or anywhere else on my device. I am deeply troubled that files are just disappearing from my device. Word Files Keep Disappearing. A Word file of mine keeps disappearing. I can only find it by the list of files recently opened in Word. If I go back to the folder with the file open, I see its temporary version, and that always says hidden under file properties. If I unhide it, it goes back to being hidden once I close it. This is very frustrating.

Not sure what's meant by the question, but if it suggests that downloaded files are left in the browser's default download folder, they're probably deleted after some time, e.g. 30 days depending on the system, because that folder is meant to be used as a temporary place for the downloaded files. You're supposed to move files that you want to keep to some appropriate folders depending on the files.
